This townhouse courtyard needed a complete overhaul, but the layout of the property posed logistical difficulties. Access to the courtyard was restricted to just the front and back doors, making the removal of large trees and stumps particularly challenging. Protecting the home’s interior from dirt and damage during the process of clearing old spoil was also a priority.
AFGM carefully planned the project, ensuring the client was fully informed and comfortable with the approach before any work began. To minimise disruption to the living area, the work was scheduled for when the client was away.
The team manually removed large trees and stumps, starting by first carefully dismantling trees and stumps and then subsequently hoisting them over the roof to avoid damage to the property.
Inside the property, protective plastic sheeting was placed over the floors to prevent any dirt or debris from being tracked through the house.
The result was a very happy client that was satisfied with both the process and the outcome. The project was completed on time and on budget, resulting in a previously dead, unusable space being transformed into a wonderful entertaining area complete with a thriving, fully irrigated garden.
